Our Journey
Roots Supper Club was born from a personal journey — one that began with compassion, evolved through curiosity, and grew roots through community.
When I first became vegan, it was for the animals. But that decision, while deeply important to me, often felt isolating. I wasn’t looking to convince anyone — just craving connection. Over time, I learned more about the impact of plant-based eating on the environment and human health, and I was drawn to the science. I started working with a local vascular surgeon to build awareness around nutrition and disease prevention. Eventually, I earned my nutrition certification and dove deep into the research behind lifestyle medicine and evidence-based food choices.
But more than anything, what kept me going was the joy of sharing it all with friends.
We’d swap what we cooked for the week, test out new flavors, geek out over ingredients, and gather around tables filled with color and laughter. Some of my favorite memories are just that: delicious food, good wine, and the kind of honest, easy conversation that only happens when people feel fully at home.
That’s the spirit behind Roots Supper Club — a space to come together, learn something new, and enjoy food that’s both feel-good and flavor-packed. Every dinner centers around a health theme, where each course is rooted in science and crafted with intention. But it’s never about what you can’t eat — it’s about adding more to your plate. More color, more variety, more joy.
Whether you’re just curious or all-in, there’s a seat for you here. No judgment, no labels. Just real food, real conversation, and real connection.
